In my view, I think you need to crop off the bottom 1/3 of the picture. It reduces the amount of boring grass, and the lines at the bottom. It also concentrates the viewer on the players more, at the moment they are lost in the middle. It also places the horizon on the 1/3 line and so the sky then cover the top 2/3, which gives an emphasis to the open space more. Perhaps a little overexposed on the whites, something that would be hard to avoid but one stop down would not have harmed the image. Otherwise a very tranquil English scene.
