Really nice work, Rob.

Love your idea and creativity here. Very nice feel and mood to your image/piece.

Caveats? From the Caedesian Scrooge Commentator?

Not sure if it is the fact that I am non-caffeinated at the moment ... however, the 'moon'. More oval than round?

On a compositional note ... might be tempted to reduce some of the negative space. Some, that is.

And here I am referencing cropping vertically, as opposed to horizontally.

Had your image not come up in the approval queue, it would definitely be one ... in and amongst the new image's galleries that would have caught my eye.

I like this and appreciate your creative efforts. :o)

Annnnnnd ... but of course, thank you for sharing those efforts and talents with us. :o)

Very creatively done Rob and great manipulation work. I like the back lighting of the scene and the way the tree branches are illuminated. Reshape your moon and you have a fantastic image. Thanks for sharing.

I like the way the light on the right side of the tree is brighter indicating that is where most of the moonlight is falling. I like the mood set here and I agree that cropping vertically would make this stand out even more.

I, too, like this work... enough that I tried something different related to Les' suggestion... instead of a crop I tried a canvas increase with some clone & heal. I first re-sized it to 1400x1050, to make the moon round. I then tried extending it to 1680 from the left but the moon ended up centered... then I extended from the right but the tree was centered. So I extended from the center and I preferred that arrangement... Monitor sizes are troublesome... I was a 1680x1050 person until my monitor would no longer turn on and am now at 1920x1080!... so I will have a lot of work re-adjusting my images. :o)
A very nice piece of work... well worth the effort to make it fit a different configuration! :o)
