Trash Art 0068 is for a good friend Les who made a comment on my last posting Trash Art 0067 and I quote “I think, since you started working on these trash art pieces, and from time to time.. wonder how the use of a displacement map to overlay a section/part of a photo/etc... would turn out.” well Les as always gives good advice so I gave it a go I for one think it worked out very well thanks Les. Trash Art are recycled pictures I have taken in Rotterdam buildings, street art, flowers, trees,brickwork and anything else at street level grinding and pounding them into what I call Trash Art.

Simply STRIKING. I tried lightening the eyes but while the eyes were more visible, too much drama was lost, and that's what makes the image striking.

Such a breathtaking beauty with porcelain skin! (I'm quite pale, but I've never looked like that)! The expression in her eyes seems indifferent, as if she knows how beautiful she is and doesn't need anyone to tell her that. The hair color is stunning and the rose in her hair is just as gorgeous as her absolutely red lipstick. You've done such a perfect job of layering with this one Rob! Kudos to you and creds to Les:)

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
Striking, indeed. A nice very slight variation on the classic combo black/white/red. Textures are wonderful.
