Abraham Lincoln, President The Commons Abraham Lincoln, President Colorized originaal image The key goal of The Commons is to share hidden treasures from the world's public photography archives. What's "no known copyright restrictions?" This new rights statement is being contained to the institutions participating in The Commons, at the account level. It is a requirement for participation in the program that institutions may rightly claim "no known copyright restrictions" on the content they share I claim no rights to this image other than I colorized it. Did do some restoration to the image took out the major eyesores dings and scratches tried to leave alone as much as possible. Went for a natural skin and eye (blue grey) color. The suit and vest black of course. "To all my friends have not posted in a long time have had many health issues that have left me bedridden."

Right, so.. take this..

(*hands Rob a prescription*)

Yes, that's correct.. take two cookies every 4 - 6 hours with a good good cup of tea. You'll be right as rain in no time.

... ...

Sorry to hear/read that you are encountering more challenges, Rob.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Sincerely.

And..

Nice work here.

Rob, first of all I wish you all the possible progression in improving your health/medical situation. Hope you'll be soon on the mend.

Agree with Connie's comment above. If Mr. Abraham Lincoln had been able to view this portrait, you had to move to the USA instantly in order to be his photographer and/or his public relations agent, ☺ .

Superbly done editing again, my friend!
