They are probably heading for the Melon patch Rob. The hard work and uncertain times really shows on their faces.

Rob, the photographer (Lee Russell) has portrayed the real life, free from any glamour and frills.
It's an art on its own that, by editing this image, the authenticity stays intact, the more that by colorization the danger exists that some violation to the reality will appear.
Your colorization however wasn't overdone and was dosed perfectly, with the result that you have emphasized the strength of the original B&W portrait. Perfectly done again.
