Judging from the good condition of her clothing (looks new), jewelry and camera I would say she is doing quite well Rob. I have a feeling the photographer was sweet on her.
Again professional work on the colorization.

I would say this is a documentary photo, Rob. And it's really good.

My guess is she and others (not in the shot) were surveying the land with thoughts of purchase. OR, she is looking for Big Foot, which is just as plausible as my first guess! :)

As always Rob, what and talent you have with colorizing images.

Just the right tint to her clothes. Wonder what she is taking a photo of.
Nice work.

At first sight, one could think that this post was captured recently by using the selective coloring principle, but the original (B&W) capture was taken about 84 years ago however.
Your editing and colorization process is a well balanced one again, Rob.
Your work has become a nowadays masterpiece!
S+F, thanks, 👍!

Well, there is certainly a fondness for the subject matter here with this attractive young woman considering how she wants to compose her next shot and you are just soooo good at revitalizing and coloring these old photos...love it, Rob, and so glad to see you back.

You have a great eye for detail. Right down to the single, red fingernail. The washed out background and high contrast blues in her clothes mimic the look of an old Ektachrome slide very well. Trying to pull any meaning from the picture is as worthwhile as reading tea leaves, but I'd say you have a weekend tourist here, whooping it up in "cowboy" gear she'll never wear again. The real treasure is the time she was in, American national parks were flourishing and infrastructure was being built for the enjoyment of our new weekend-tourist society. The future looked bright. Until it wasn't.

Good job with your restorations! As time marches on, more and more people such as her featured here pass on. It's good we have this record.
