Rob, as usual, your coloring is perfectly chosen and executed. That you've cloned out the number '4521' is a wise choice. At the first sight of the original B&W photo I thought I saw a photo of a prisoner, 😜!
Leaving this number intact wouldn't have done justice to Miss Agnes Perry.

I'm guessing Miss Agnes had her portrait done for her sweetheart who had gone off or was going off to war. Civil War!
Gotta love that hairdo with the bun and curl.
