I wonder if what he's smoking is the same as what people smoke today in their homemade pipes Rob. Superior colorization once again. Looks like he was caught while taking a puff.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Rob, in order to properly assess the essence of this, by you perfectly colorized, photograph, it must be placed in the correct time perspective. Today, smokers are often looked upon with condescension, but in the days when this photo was taken, it was often the only way to escape somewhat from the raw reality of everyday life. To do this, some inventiveness was often necessary. This photo illustrates this superbly. Good choice and good job again.

Nature in all her glory is my uplift on life and so is my love of photography. sandi ♪ ♫
Coloring is exceptional. There is something about the photos that you work on that interests me, it seems as if the expression on so many of these faces from the past have a sense of individualism, that we are seeing their personalities in these captures. At least this is what I sense. Excellent result, as usual.
