I can remember having the opportunity to sell the Grit newspaper as a lad Rob. This could have been taken in my little community back in the day. Love the vintage signs. Especially the old Movie Poster.
One of your best colorization's.

Your colouring is superb. Love the Americana portrayed here - the signs on the shop front.
I wonder if he did his after working on the farm .
Splendid post as always Rob

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I really like what you have done and appreciate your choice of material. I do remember the Grit paper. We used to get it when I was young.

Coloring here adds so much, gives us a truer sense of the times, your choice of tones and colors works perfectly.

Rob, it can't be anything other than that your choice to select a photograph for colorization is a well taken decision because not every B&W photograph is suitable for that. When I see the perfect result, I can only conclude that the selection and colorzation process has become your trademark!
