Something about it makes me think it might have been taken at a schoolhouse Rob. I love the expression on the girl out fronts face.
She looks a little put out literally.
Wonderful colorization per usual.
It's good to see you posting.

Might be she was sent out because she misbehaved. Looks like the teacher in the window. Nice work by you on the light coloring.

This type of photo make one pause to think, how even a scene from so many years ago, gives us a totally different image and mind set compared to today. Results are super.

With a naughty and/or protesting look on her face, the girl at the front side of this probably schoolhouse apparently has pulled the chestnuts out of the fire by neglecting the request of the photographer to pose with a smile on her face, while the other children are curious what will happen than.
Although many years ago, it's still a precious shot, made by you even finer by your excellent way and not overdosed way of colorization. Kudos again, 👍 !

Nice selective coloring job, Rob. When I look at these old pictures it's like looking at my family's old picture albums. We have lots of pictures dating back to the early 1900s. My grandpa was born in the late 1800s and my dad was born in 1912. There is even one of me that is colorized dating in the early 50s.

Really love the look and expression on the young girl in the foreground. She doesn't look too happy to have her picture taken
