"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
PJ, this stuff goes on all the time right under our noses, but we're blind to it. I've often admired other's macro work and wanted to start doing my own. Spiders just happen to be some of the most patient subjects for a beginner to work with. That they're bizarre and ferocious is an added bonus.
By the way, this spider is only about 1/8" to 3/16" long.
