I hope this shot gets a pass from the mods, considering its similarity to #1. But the feeding behavior caught here was just too odd not to share. I think most or all of the liquid is flower nectar. This fly was about a quarter of an inch long. Taken with a 100mm macro lens & a ring flash. Near Anza, California.
