You could have fooled me that it was rendered. Very realistic looking.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Thank you both. I'm glad you liked it. As you can probably tell, I like wild, primeval landscapes. That's likely a common feeling.

A very beautiful composition Russ! I can almost feel the wind pushing the clouds.

Looks better than most days in the real world. Wonderful creation.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Thank you, everyone. I'm very pleased at the reception it's gotten.

There's just something magical and renewing about sunrises and sunsets.

I think we're just hardwired to feel that way.

Beautiful picture. I didn't realize it was a rendering until I noticed the moon. The moon should be dark on the opposite side of the sun. This does not detract from the beauty of the whole thing.

Thank you both very much. Glad you liked the picture.

In my defense, I did put a light to dark gradient on the moon, it's just not very strong. Put the brightness down to 'Earthlight' reflecting back on the moon. It's a real effect though.

I had no idea this was a computer landscape. It looked very realistic except as noted above when I saw the moon. You've created a magnificent landscape here and a universe that I wouldn't mind seeing again and again. Stupendous work.

Would you mind putting the plane into a higher altitude I don't much feel like smacking into the side of a mountain during the flight. :)

Beautiful colours and a great looking scene. A great perspective in the image. Wonderful work with this render.
