Do you shoot when it's dark or double exponate or use darkening filter on water shots like this? I'm rather curious because I haven't experimented with it yet. You got to have a rater long exposure time right? Id love to hear the details on this. (Sorry if you have explained it elsewhere.) Also, you don't need to respond at all if you don't feel like it. :) No problems at all in that case. I'll understand. ^_^

This is sooo beautiful. The cold blue of the scene is perfectly chosen to show the deep cold of the landscape, but the running water shows that life still prevails even in such icy conditions! Very nice - I love the smaller cascading waterfall in the background leading up to the bigger, main fall - it really dramws your eyes through the image and gives it a real sense of movement and activity despite the opressive icy chill.
