A few days ago, they said on TV that we could see some aurora borealis, even in England, north of France, Belgium, Netherland, ... Was it taken at this time?
Marvelous! Yet a ten for you!
Thank you all very much! i took this photo yesterday night. The aurora has been more active the last two weeks. This show lasted no more than 15 minutes and then it was gone.
Awesome! When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought it was someone's exercise in computer animation or something. But then I saw your name and knew it was the real thing.
Pierre, the aurora was moving like a fire over the sky thats why itīs so fuzzy. If you never have seen the northern lights you can never imagine how it looks. Itīs so magnificent!
:-) Thank you Tracy!
Nice capture. I've only seen some weak aurora borialis. (Outside Östersund, and once actually outside Stockholm. ) Even then they were lovely. This looks like it had been a magnificent show! In some part I envy you for living up there, but I'm not sure I would have taken the midwinter darkness and the all-day summer too well... ^_^
A good shot of the Lights, maybe tho, with more sensitivity and less time used would make the Lights more sharp and bright. Now they don't really do honor to the target.
A good shot anyways!
