This is so unique....the way the homes are built..the stones and wood...and then seeing the grass on the roof...all these tucked away on a hillside...its a very very good feeling photo..The colours are marvelous....

This looks like a land where time stood still...very enchanting with the mist, the green hills, and simplicity of the homes...thank you for sharing this...it reminds one of what it's really all about amidst the fast pace of modern day life.:Pat.

Magical is the only word for this photo. There has to be one of those wonderful Norweigan Trolls hiding in this picture. I could live here happily. Off to my favorites, this one goes.

The leading edge of a snow squall really adds to an already exceptional image. Kudos, Sam.

Weird but true: A man was found dead in his seat at a cinema in Bombay after the late-night screening of a horror film.

A moment frozen in time. The image reminds me of scenes from some movies set in much earlier periods of the human experience.
10 by me and in my favorites.

Bad artists always admire each other’s work. They call it being large-minded and free from prejudice. But a truly great artist cannot conceive of life being shown, or beauty fashioned, under any conditions other than those he has selected.

Sam, I’m really pleased I’ve seen this one. It is exquisite. The buildings are unique to my eyes. The tones and colours are superb and the mist gives an aura of mystique. It is the best photo I have seen for some time.

Movies should use this site for their shots of the renaissance. King Arthur, Dragons, Fairies, etc...this is just gorgeous!!! What an amazing picture!!!! I am so glad that you shared it with us. Thank you!!
