The perspective here almost seems warped somehow, as if the buildings and the horizon are curving toward the right; I'm not sure if this is because of your method of photography or an optical illusion caused by the curved shapes of the water and sandbar in the foreground. In any case I certainly think it breaks the "normal" rules of photography and still manages to be an interesting and aesthtically pleasing image. Well done.
As fotos em contra-luz não são fáceis, mas acho que conseguiu tornear essa dificuldade. O "warp-effect" a que alude Samatar é quase impossível de evitar sobretudo se se fotografa com objectivas de curta distância focal, ex. grande-angular. Só as objectivas de perspectiva corrigida o conseguem, mas são dispendiosas e não justificam o encargo. Temos todos que aprender a viver com os "defeitos" das lentes e saber tirar partido deles.

Great photo, this really is clever. It looks fantastic B & W and the warping effect is very cool. The human element is really well placed and adds to the picture a lot.
