This photo was taken by my son in law 'Adrian ' in Cornwall, UK. I think he has an amazing talent, especially when you think he only started taking photos 4 months ago, I'm going to get him to join the site ASAP, as I think you may well like to see more of his work, I know I do, can you please leave a comment or 2 for him, then I will show him in a few days, I think he may prove to be one of the best photographers in months to come, just four months into it and Paint Shop Pro, I must say, this just blew me off my seat, well done or what ? up too you fellow members to answer . . . . . . all the best, Mark.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Mark - Get Adrian signed on, as his work will be enjoyed by many here on Caedes. The edges of the rock are a bit hard and could be feathered somewhat to blend better with the abstract background. That stated, it is a wonderful photo. Thad

Oh my Gosh!!! Has the 2012 Phenomenon started already over there? LOL. Adrian has created a wonderful image. It gives the feeling of movement, big time. Sign on the dotted line, Adrian. LOL.

The tones of the blurred background match well with the rocks. Some bits of the edge between rocks and background is too sharp, often a two or three pixel softness on an edge looks more natural. The blur and it's angle add a sense of movement very nicely.

I would say he needs to jump in the barrel with the rest of us nuts Mark. This is truly good. Almost looks like a miniature scene.

Your Brother in law is talented. B&W was perfect for this. I like the effects used on it but would like to see it without as well.

Well what can i say, thanks everyone and hello!!. Im really happy with the B&W look, but should of spent more time using the layer mask to get the edges more natural.
The shot was taken at the football ground i was shooting at, thought i might as well get a shot while i was there, didnt expect it to look so good after PP though. If i go again i'll take a tripod and stop down i think, the pic isnt as sharp as it could be.
