Neat capture. Certainly makes the C-6 look even mightier than that deep threatening cloud.

Nice photo. I saw one of these coming into land once.....seemed to hang in the air for ages until it crossed the perimeter fence.

Let's put this into perspective. That's a passenger aircraft behind the C-5. Dwarfed, I believe, is an appropriate term.

There was a C-5 at the Paine Field Airshow at least 10 years ago, giving details about the plane, such as how many million ping pong balls can be loaded into the cargo bay (1.9 million, I think?), or the number of gallons of paint it take to cover just the tail (more than that to paint a full F-4 fighter).

WOW thats a brilliant picture. I love the big planes, we have Hercs here that fly over my town in 3's and so low you can see the pilots. A truly awesome sight as they just pass our castle. This is going in my faves for sure.
