I took this pictures just over two years ago, on late December 2003. The Hula valley used to be a huge swamp, until it was almost entirely dried out by the first wave of Jewish immigrants to the area in the early 1900's. Nowadays, the area is a wild life reserve, being a home for literally millions of migrating birds and other animals. The extreme contrast of the blue water against the orange-yellow bridge and the blue skies caught my eye.

What an interesting image! There is almost a Venetian feel about this scene. I like the way you have made the highest part of the bridge the central focus of the picture; in combination with that wonderfully ripply reflection it adds very significantly to the image. And the clouds - just right. A very nice composition indeed.

The contrast you achieved is incredible. Man made against the nature, yellows against the blues... Can we expect you managed to capture at least a couple of the millions of birds living in the wilde life reserve?

I take it this is a bird hide? I wonder what the rise is for though, it almost looks like it is for boats to go under, but they would have to be pretty small! Anyway, this is certainly a different side to Israel than anything I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
