Well, don't wish to simply do a drive-by commentary. So, apart from you, yourself pointing out the conditions under which you shot this photo ... took your image in here some more.


Some creative food for thought:

"The Quayside - Crop"

/\ Changes the aspect ratio.

However, the creative point I am suggesting is that by cropping 1/12th off of the bottom ... the reflected lights appearing below and on each side of the opposite banks ... don't appear to be as disembodied from the overall scene as much. (In my humble opinion, of course.)

And act, more so, as better leading lines and introduction to the scene.

Maybe?


That said, nice one. And the light you captured being reflected in the skies, is a great touch.

Nice night scene Brian. I couldn't believe how much the bridge wobbled as peeps walked over it, still it did not effect the image as it's nice n crisp.

Beautiful nightshot, good clarity and methinks the bouncing bridge did no harm to the picture!

A fascinating evening sky. The city lights and atmosphere add a nice touch to the reflected scene. I like the advice to crop just a bit too. Saved to enjoy longer. Love the unusual cloud and colors.
