Butterflies are free...

I hesitate on uploading this one, because I'm not completely sure I like it. But it utilized the same fractal (in different colors) that I had placed into my "Fractalcality" wallpaper. The verse, a common one that many are familiar with. Like gentle butterflies, love can fly with two together... or if squeezed too tightly, crushed due to its fragile nature. Best to all... Smoosh ;)

I happen to like it. I wish the lyrics were a little darker...it'd be easier to see. I love the colors you used and the swirls look straight out of Nightmare before Christmas-type animation. Well done.

To me this is a beautifully subtle depiction of freedom Smoosh. The colors so are perfectly blended and and free flowing, just like butterflies. It looks wonderful on the desktop and thanks for bringing it out here. It's grand. Anita

I thought of Wimida since that quote is in her signature here =) Maybe the writing could've been a wee bit darker and the fish sharpened a bit, but I like the soft tones here and the royal blue and pale violet go well together - nice composition also!

I like this too, actually its one of my favourites of your work. I'm not a fan of cute little verses to be honest, but becuase its been smooshed, its artistic without being too twee, if that makes sense to anyone! (I know what i mean) - take it as a compliment anyway!!

A beautiful rendering, Smoosh. I love the feel of the curls like little waves around the butterflies, sublty forming a heart shape - the open heart that allows for a free spirit. Lines, angles, curves, placement - all working together. Good use of negative space and verse as well. It's always been one of my favorites - free spirited little rebel I used to be... Blessings, anne :-)

This is so beautiful - the design, the layout, the colours. I think the font style and color are perfect - soft like the butterflies. Do you work for Hallmark by any chance?

I agree that your verse could be a little more...dark...maybe...to offset the brilliant lightness of the scene. Other than that, a beautiful design. Thanks!
