Le Métro is a photo manipulation that evolved from my fascination with the subway system. Having lived in FL most of my life, which has no basements, subways or underground cities... and thinking I may have been a mole in a past life (LOL)... I am just drawn to anything beneath the surface. I try to see all things that way, actually. I hope you enjoy this creation. Thanks to judicael and taysm for use of their Morgue File originals.

This is an excellent composition! A larger version of it could even grace the walls of an actual station in that system...Favs list material here...Double Kudos on this one!

This is really great, Smoosh! I love how you fogged the subway map and whatever else you did, I'm not an expert on, but it sure does look fine! I love it.~~~ Your fascination with what lies below the surface may be more than just related to tunnels and subways.
I don't think you'd like the Big Dig in Boston though. Million dollar venture over years and the ceiling fell in on some poor woman and now it is closed. You may have heard about that.

I hadn't heard about that woman Cindy... how terrible! One other thing I forgot to mention in my description is that I tried to line up the subway map with the curves of the girls arms and shoulders. This way the eye had a consistent path to follow.

Thanks everyone for the nice remarks! :)

Your works are magnificent. Every day when I go for the faculty I catch the meter, maps, tariffs, friendly or strange faces. You have found one excellent reason for your work. Congratulations it's very good!!!

Just three words to say to you. This is great, keep up the good work. Actually, that was eight words, but it is great. You have a very imaginative and creative thought process. The picture makes a great desktop too. Well done.

Ok I said much more than I intended, Thanks for sharing.

Yes, I see the alignment of arm and map. Maybe it was too subliminal for me to notice right off, but your eye for design was really in gear with this one. The last one you posted was really good too!

This is really good Smoosh. So good it should be displayed in the Toronto subway system which is a most efficient and inexpensive transportation mode. I mention this one because it's the only one I've used! I love the subways too. They're almost like cities in themselves.

You did a great job with this picture and the idea to blend the map to the curves of the girl's arm is excellent. Another fine Smooshterpiece...
