By Request - This is another, but frontal view ,of the Jail on the Contraband movie site, in Big Bend, Texas. The film, which I have never seen, was shot on location , on the privately owned , Big Bend Ranch. The ranch is immense, and encompasses the land fronting on the Rio Grande, and Mexican border, only 100 feet or so, from the front of the Jail. It appears to be well maintained, but unattended. I had the village all to myself.The site is immediately South of the highway, and a couple miles West of Terlinga, which is just a few miles West of Big Bend National Park.

I love how the sky changes color from light blue to dark blue. it's a really resonating picture. great time of day to capture it too, the shadows add to it, otherwise the building might look kinda boring.

Beautiful colors and I love the contradiction of this neat, smooth, man made block sitting in this inhospitable landscape. Those full length shadows send this one over the top. They're a great visual of the hard sunlight. Glad you chose to post it straight on for a view we can examine.
