Beavers are quite an engineering marvel, but this Beaver misjudged the fall path by just a bite or two, or even a strong wind gust. This was taken, about 300' from the Beaver House, Blue was inspecting, a couple of weeks ago.

Wow, that shot is so crisp, I love it. Also good for the humor quality, but man, I just love how crisp it is. Well done Doug.

I think it resulted from the small size of beavers - simply could not see the branches up there ...
Like everybody before me I also feel that I must know what happened !!! You pushed the tree I guess and if not yet, then please proceed with utmost caution and care not to hurt yourself or the doggie who will certainly be in the middle LOL

A great shot! Funny but I'll bet after all of that work he was ticked off, lol.
He probably could have used a buddy and a beer, lol.

You'd certainly think that the tree had been axed but those lil creatures have some major industrial tools goin' on in their mouths!
Splendid Shot, Doug!

Great perspective down here at beavers eye level. I can almost sense his disapointment at the critical moment. So much hard work.

What a great perspective and how fun to see this work by the beavers. Isn't an amazing world we live in? Excellent photo!
