Found this Lilly at another neighbour's garden, when I stopped to chat. I'd already shot all their flowers, but these had just come into bloom, for the first time.Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did.
This is a magnificant image. May I suggest that you flip it horizontally so the blank space is on the left that way the icons won't cover up that beautiful flower. Bravo! This is a masterpiece.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

It is so clear, I feel like I can feel the petals! Amazing job! On a scale on 1-10, this flower is a 15!!!!!! Keep up the fantastic work, and keep 'em comin'!
WOWSER!!!! that is the most detail I have ever seen in a flower, you must have had just the perfect light not to mention the talent to use it. Fantastic!!!!
I'm not a huge fan of frames, particularly a digital one created around ones own image. I feel this detracts the effectiveness of a print, and is slightly distracting. When I purchase a print I look for one on canvas or has a small non distracting frame. This gives the viewer or customer an opportunity to individualize, additionally the print speaks for itself, not the frame or colors surrounding it. Very nicely done nonetheless, kudos on a very lovely shot! Thanks for sharing!

Rules are for those who always follow the rules; there are no rules in photography because this isn't a game but an art! :P -Me-
