Taken this same time last year in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada. It's about an hour North of Halifax, along the Atlantic coast, and a continuous series of inlets.

My god, Doug!!!! Those are the largest bleeding hearts I've ever seen. (Moves back from monitor). I'm not sure how you did it, but I love the fact that only the central bloom and its accompanying stem are textured. Excellent manipulation or fine camera work or both. I might suggest three clicks of "revive color" and a few clicks of +saturation. If you do that, I can get out my sunscreen and get a nice tan. LOL

Beautiful work. The extraordinarily intrusive leaf poking in at the top is hardly noticeable.

I love how you have framed these beautiful flowers. The shape as well as the contrast of the pink and red are simply breathtaking.
