This was late in the day, and I think it was the first time I managed to get a backlit shot of this pretty but dangerous Cactus. Taken in the Cholla Garden in Joshua Tree National Park in southern California.

Wow Doug, this is spectacular!! Great use of demonstrating several 'art' rules- line, form, value, contrast and texture!! A slight nudge to the left would help me out though:):):):)
