my entry for the shadow contest... it shows the ripples of sand that are created by the rippling water as the tide retreats down the beach... sand that is usually covered by the tide retains the water which bubbles up and drains off, creating interruptions in the sand patterns... for this image the almost-setting sun did the rest...
