I saw this kind of effect in an art photography magazine and it took me weeks to figure out how to achieve something similar... I had my diffusion filter on and moved the camera slightly up and down with my hands. Obviously the same effect can be accomplished by a slower shutter speed, but I usually like to complicate my life by doing things the hard way... ;-) I hope you like it... (my contest entry.)

With your experimenting you have create a very original entry for the contest Mary.
People may have some promblems to recognize it as a 'forest', but that's quite normal for contemporary art.

You used the effect well. It's not an easy technique to use to achieve a beautiful image - I have tried it but haven't had great success, but you did it. A FAVE from me for technique and aesthetic.

Missed this one until now! I love the movement and color tones. An interesting technique. The optical illusion makes it even more fascinating. Think it would be great large on the right wall.
