Just something new, it was originally just the squid thing but without the shadows applied to it too make it 3-D
This was kind of an accident, all i was doing was showing my dad how simple i make photoshop look and ... well ... you know ;)

What a great "accident"! It is a delightful illustration, one that I could easily see in a children's book. It's imaginative, has great texture blends and effects... and full of creativity. I love the "squid in the sky" concept. And the reflections on the water are a great addition!

... and you just made a squid by mistake. Easy to do, of course.
No, wait... what? OK, no, I don't know. I couldn't make this if I tried, never mind by mistake. Oh, well.
It looks fantastic - definitely belongs in a children's book, as smoosh said. You just need a couple of friends for the squid, some good names and a story... Might need to put the squid back _in_ the water as a small concession to realism, but you should be set otherwise, I'd think.
