I saw a bird that looks very much like this at the Worcester Ecoterriam, but he had red where this fellow is yellow. A very interesting bird to say the least. This is a very fine clear shot of him too.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hey Charlie that's one ugly bird
Anyone got a brown paper bag that'll improve the view lol. Good bad, or ugly these are important ingredients in life. :d
Nice crisp shot mate
I love your composition on this one. Everything is placed just as it should be. Wonderful take on the bird and to top it all off the clarity is tack sharp. I'm saving this one.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Great pic of this bird Charlie ... a new one to me. Sharp detail full screen. PJ's comment echo's my thought about the composition ... the dark greens add a perfect contrast to wonderful bird capture.
