maybe not the best shot of this butterfly I made. But the contrast with this buddleia i found beautiful...what do you think.

Hoi Paul,

Mooi "Groot Koolwitje" heb je vastgelegd. Op dit moment zitten hier ook veel soorten vlinders op de vlinderstruik (Buddleja davidii). Helaas zijn het vaak al wat oudere exemplaren met wat rafelige vleugels.

Hehe... I don't think it's perfect in all respects but I say that with respect if you know what I mean. I really like what you pointed out with the contrast between the butterfly and the flower but the field of depth blurs parts of the butterflies body in a slightly off-setting way. Not that it's such a big deal, it's just what comes to mind when I see your photo. Other then that I find the lighting and perhaps, especially, the richly saturated colors to be very appealing.

Hallo Paul, Looking at this image (1280x1024) you would think that the butterfly is separated from the beautiful purple flower. This is very nice indeed. You certainly got my vote.
