The men from the Touareg tribes in the Sahara desert wear blue clothes which they dye with Indigo, which is a very expensive color. Its a must to wear, the more blue the richer you are. There aint a lot of those real Touareg people left, but these blue clothes remain "the clothes to wear" for the desert people. This young man was called Ibrahim and was my guide in the Erg Chebbi desert.

Somehow the blue man in the middle of the desert looks very exotic to me. The colour contrast is great.

What an amazingly dramatic photo you created here. The exposure is just righ to allow the color contrast to do its work. The rich blue against the rich brown odf the sand is just lovely, and your composition of this image lets us feel the motion.

Every one of your images from this trip have allowed me the privilege of feeling as if I am travelling right along with you. All thought provoking and all impact strong. Simple and tasteful compositions where I can focus right in on what you've intended one to feel and see through your lens. It's a shame the descriptions can't be read from the booth on images such as this one. I appreciate that you've explained each meaning and detail of your photos as well. I really can't top Sam's comment on this photo.

Wow.. that's a really cool picture. Nice colors and I love the background. This sort of reminds me of the "blue man" in the book, "The Five People You Mee in Heaven." Very nice job!

Striking and beautifully crisp. I wish you could have captured the sand all the way - I don't prefer the black border, but I know how that is when you are in a situation and that is the only way you can do it ... anyway, it's a keeper!
