as the sun sets the golden color of the sky silhouettes the golden color of the wheat growing on the hill side in the distance...yes i know the milkweed is in a brighter light...if it bothers you put on a pair of sunglasses...there, even a easier fix :) or imagine i have a flashlight with me as i walk up the hill..lol
Appreciate you sharing the 'how tos' and tips, Chris.
Secondly..
You've kicked up your original version with this visual offering here. The addition of the background/backdrop is a nice touch and then some.
Caveats?
And here, I am being hypercritical.
Perhaps, transforming the light on the milkweed to more closely mirror the golden light of the background/backdrop might elevate your image here?
Just thinking and typing out loud and I hope the above doesn't come off and take any thunder away from the impact of viewing your image here full screen.
'Cause.. it is that.. impactful.
+fav for me.
And..
Thanks again, for sharing your knowledge and your image here with us.
(p.s. You've got some very, very.. very, strong contenders in your gallery now for the contest. Looking forward to seeing your decision and final entry. Best of luck.)
i think that suggestion is with exploring...huummm maybe too much coffee blurred my judgement before posting. might be a number three with offering some more infor.
i like this post alot, just do to the fact there is much to learn here, techniques i had to learn the hard way, i dont wish that on anyone. well maybe a few.
Wow Chris, this is breath taking and thank you so much for this gorgeous piece of work. I really love this one and will do extremely well if you put this in the contest. Good Luck - also a fav for me.
This background does not overpower the milkweed and actually enhances it and it is very good also , Well done . Maybe Nik was on to something with his comment on the first one.
Oh now here is a terrific contender, and I'm going with this one as my favorite. Thank you for the explanation too my friend. Your full of it Sty, and that is meant in a good way. :) tigs=^..^=
I really like this Chris but I think I agree with Les - the white on the milkweed seems a little too bright with the rest of the composition but it's far better than anything I can do so . . .
