Almost screwed up and labeled it under Bridge...force of habit. little trickery on the graffiti, so it is a manip. it was there...well sorta, just in a different location. moved it around a bit. after all, whats an old bridge without being vandalized. thats about the only part i like out of the shot. nothing like a nice unnoticed blend, reflection and all.

I have more of this bridge in different perspectives. climbed all over it that day after a hard search in the woods to find it. On the might Grand River in Lowell Mi. felt like a kid again exploring and finding something cool out of no where :) by the time i did find it it was high noon and not a get time to shoot where it was positioned with the sun. maybe it would look better this winter with snow and maybe some ice...idk!

Enjoy!

I'm not a huge fan of graffiti, but I sure like the neon glow that I see here. Very good color, composition, and of course great reflections. To see it covered in snow would give it a whole new perspective, but I don't know that I would suggest trying it, if you know what I mean? I think you do! : tigs=^..^=

I really like this one even the glowing graffiti - great angle and perspective.

That graffiti reflection is so realistic I had to read your post to understand it's your manip. Totally fooled everyone and his dog (well, my dogs anyway, and they're border collies and very discerning when photography comes to mind... my biggest critics). I know of your love of bridges and this one, while simple, is dynamic. It brings to mind a story I saw, years ago, of a guy who bought a bridge just like this one, across a creek in Virginia (I think). The road and bridge was declared permanently closed so, after buying the bridge, he used the steel frame and roadbed to build a very unique house... spanning a creek! He even had a trapdoor in the living room floor that he could lift, sit in his recliner, and fish through the hole in the floor. Too cool for color TV.

Actually I like graffiti from an artistic point of view. I don't like what some of it stands for. It is really a way for some people to vent their feelings in a rebellious sort of way. Graffiti around here means too much time on some teenagers hands. Good job on your image.
