A perfect autumn DT, Lori. Looks like rust & brown colored leaves on a tree ... just waiting to take their final journey. Beautiful work. Saved & faved.

I look at this image and I think... I could just fall right down into that softness and sleep the sleep of the contented, with some really great but understated perfume floating through. I suggested this title because it reminds me of large beautiful curls on an elegantly coiffured red-headed woman, in the sort of dim light that allows only a certain angle of highlights in her hair to be seen, and the gold is delicate, filigreed hair pins and strings of gold jewelry, similar to strings of pearls that Elizabethan women used to wear in their hair. It's another beautiful piece, Lori.

I see the blonde and red tendrils of hair, but to me this is more an image of 'Elegance' with the gold ornamentation throughout. Beautiful post, Lori. Demands to be seen full view for all it's intricate beauty.

My wife, who is a top-notch quilter, took a look at this one, declared it very pretty, and said it reminded her of a sari, that Indian women wear. She's nowhere near as verbose as I am, instead saying succinctly what she wants without getting her tongue wrapped around her ear. She did, however, swish her fingers and sway back and forth to illustrate the wearing of a sari, so you get visual comments as well. Did you see her do that, Lori? :O)
