Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

You see, that's what I need to do more of..just sit with my camera ready to shoot and wait for something interesting to happen :) Me? Oh, no. I go chasing around all over trying to create things when sometimes it would be better to sit and wait for things to happen around me. There are two sides to everything we do and I'm glad you were in a wait and see kind of mood. I can't stop commenting until I say something about that water. I love seeing the differing blues, but it's more than that, it's also the shadows and the little flecks of foam on some of the tiny waves, and even though it's not crystal crisp, I don't think I would have liked it so much if you had captured it that way. The way it looks now to me creates a feeling of movement...great shot..great eye, and I congratulate you on your patience :)PJ

Not finding words to explain the genius of this photo. I love the extention of the wings to the tip of the photograph...it's a beauty

Ted, this is a superduper shot of this seagull. He is beautiful in flight with those wide stretched wings. The gently rolling water is full of life, literally, and has the most lovely blue color. It would be hard not to take a dip :) Thanks for sharing this fine image :))
