During a whirligig festival, a painter used the buildings and whirligigs to be his canvas. I left before seeing the finished product.

Ted, if I would have been this painter, think I've chosen for an other outfit. He still has a lot work to do, but keeping his clothes clean, won't be helpful to finish this job quickly. You may have noticed this, hence you probably left before seeing the finished product, 😁 !
Very good 'action shot' however!

Having painted hundreds of pieces myself, Ted, I think you mean *his inspiration*? His piece here looks to involve lots of fun, commemorative of the festival for years to come. I once painted a demonstration piece, a portrait, while selling reduction silk screen prints at our annual outdoor art fair (the first year~~ever since then it became a craft fair, a biiiiig difference). I was, however, a young collegiate *starving artist* (they do exist), and wearing nice clothes and a bow tie (or ANY kind of tie) while painting, never occurred to me. Happy New Year!
