On the whale watching tour from Jeanneau Alaska, we had the opportunity to see a lot of the sea life in person. Yes, whales are very big. The object at the bottom left is a young whale.
Wowowowow, you two have really been getting in some great twists and turns, opportunities and successes on your trips. The standard whale photo is usually a profile capture of a geyser of water ascending high from a blowhole, or the flukes rising out of the water, shot from behind. I love whales and remember all those great shots (despite having a Covid-fried brain). I can honestly say that I have never seen a photo of blowholes from this angle or this many. Its uniqueness is matched only by a whale surfacing next to a kayaker (incidentally, that is my dream, as good as sex or better), and seeing it is definitely a highlight for my day.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Ted, I envy you that you had the opportunity to capture this unique scene. If I had this opportunity, maybe my picture would have been blurred because of the tension, although I'm not a nervous type of man (😁). Your capture however is sharp as a pin! Excellent work!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
