Come, my friends,
'tis not too late to seek a new world. Push off, and sitting well in order smite the sounding furrows; for my purpose holds to sail beyond the sunset, and the baths of all western stars, until I die.
Tennyson, "Ulysses"
I think this shot has/had potential. Might've preferred a slight tilt up of the camera, eliminating the sand or silt in the foreground, and the section of water not bearing any reflection. The scene in the distance would also be more fully captured, and not cropped out, as it appears to be, somewhat, in this shot.
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
