The unexpected often reveals new ideas and unexplored paths. Therefore, one must learn to “look.” Nothing should restrict one’s manner of expression as long as “it works.” No amount of words can describe a photograph or create one. Frequently, we “find” without seeking, acting upon Pasteur’s expression “Chance favors the prepared mind.” That is why so many great “accidents” seem to happen to better photographers.--Arnold Newman

This is an amazing shot, and it stands out from all of the countless landscapes and flower shots that all start to run together. Fantastic use of lighting, framing, subject, everything. I love this.

Very well composed. I felt like I was in the mountains of south-east Queensland when I saw it.

What an awesome shot!
It's so simple yet bares so much information - the sunset, the dimmed skies, the dark field, the flare and, of course, teh grass silhouette.
Well done! :)

Really nice shot! Great framing and balance of color and silhouette.

The more so for me, as I see you've also managed to catch the tiny bits of shine from the sun on the edges of several of the seeds. Well done.

Reminds me of where I grew up (Western NY State). Very good use of color and shadows. I especially like the sun glare/spot.

I just love how the grass frames the sun in this picture. the contrast between the grass and sky and land provides for an almost dream like image! nice work!

HAH nice name and great shot. How long did it take you to wait for the wheat to move into that position?
