My son scattered some birdseed by accident, which made for a delightful summer of capturing varigated flowers that normally do not show up in our Colorado gardens. This one holds a special place in my heart because it stood alone in a sea of "normal" sunflowers...and yet did not try to conform.

Hey Terri,
This one absolutely stands out, not only from the other flowers surrounding, but also from your other pictures, I love this one most because of its color, DOF, framing,...
Great job (for your son but definitely for you too)

Thanks for sharing

Right into my file on my HD....it's a keeper for sure and I've needless to say never seen a sunflower of that color. Since it was sowed in such carefree way, are you sure that's what it is? Well, no matter, you've captured it well and showcased it here in grand style :)

Very lovely shot of nature at it's best. The natural colors in the shot are so soothing and beautiful. I really enjoying looking at this one and it will make a great desktop. Thanks for sharing!
