My foofy for the day is this cone flower I captured at the Calendar gardens.

Used the new camera, and the trusty canon 70-200mm lens.

Tomorrow I'm meeting some girls for lunch, and they have asked me to take them to one my places, so I decided on the Calendar gardens, because it has a nice but short nature walk, and then the wonderful gardens themselves. I'm looking forward to showing them one of my spots.

Thank you for the comments, and I hope your foofy friday has been a good one.

Tigs♥ =^..^=

I am glad you know what this is called. I just look at them. You allways seem to capture them in the perfect lighting.

I can smell the sunlight on your skin. Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make!

A lovely Coneflower ... I'm not familiar with this type either. I love it's foofy center & of course it's in my favorite flower color. Wonderful capture Sandi ... this is going straight to my desktop so I can enjoy it some more.

Such an unusual variety of cone flower. It is especially lovely. The colors in here are striking. Nicely done, Tigs.

So this must be today's posting that was not submitted by Lucy Lu. Lucy has you beat on self portraits, but you win hands down in the flower department, Sandi. The flawless, sharp detail is striking. The DoF is right on the button. Gotta love those colors. When you invade the innards of a bloom, I feel a tad embarrassed. Shouldn't the poor flower at least have one of those flimsy hospital gown cover ups? This isn't a medical journal or Hustler magazine. Show some compassion and leave a shred of dignity for the poor exposed bloom.

Roger

P.S. This is my last comment for the day. It's been a rough week, and I'm beyond tired. I hope my comment makes more sense in the morning than it does now.
