I was out shooting today, and arrived home to find the macro extension tubes in the mail box, so got back in the car, and headed for the local gardens in town.

I used the canon t3i, with the canon 70-200mm f/4L USM lens with Meike Automatic macro set (3 rings). I used the 31mm tube for my first effort at using them.

Thank you for your comments, and I'm thrilled to finally see the butterflies are back.

I can smell the sunlight on your skin. Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make!

Excellent and the choice of shooting it on a flower really highlighted the flutterby.

I don't know much about the macro tubes but this makes me want to learn Tigz. As good as it gets.

Excellent macro shot, Sandi. Composition is great with the use of black background patch and bright flowers. Despite extremely narrow DOF of equipment and settings your focus is perfect. Very well done my friend.

Buckeyes are very common around here, Sandi and you've done a great job capturing this on in all it's glory. Detail and DOF are spot on -
