Good close-up showing all details and also the white or pale grey background emphasizes the image Sandi.

Love the detail in this photo you can see all the muscles in the horses neck and face. Love the framing of this capture and the wood like fence running along the bottom of this photo too.

I think I might have stumbled onto a way to constructively critique your photos, Sandi.. and.. not have you remove them from your galleries..

... wait till they are promoted to the Main Galleries!

:oP

A fine shot and a great B & W conversion. The high key presentation suits your subject matter here well.

Caveats?

Probably just rests with me.. just a lil'.. lil', more space between that of the horse and the wood beam at the bottom of frame.

Not sure if you added it, after the fact (doesn't need it, in my humble opinion.. portrait can readily stand on it's own creative and photographic merits).. or, if it was present. As in, part of the fencing around the horse, barn.. or whatever.

If the latter? A slight shift of camera position/elevation to put some distance between the two.

Still and with the above said.. great shot. Great presentation.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.
