The thigh of the male reminds me my latest purchase - Shape-Up walking shoes which are supposed to shape all of one's muscles and improve brain work LOL
Lovely colours - not just the birds but in general, SAS.

Hope not that their marriage will end with a divorce Sandi. When I see your, however splendid, image I have some fear for it.

Wonderful action shot of this male (?) crane trying his hardest to impress and he's succeeding. The whole image has an oriental feel about it.

Sandi - Dance as he might, her interest is quite passive. Perhaps he was saving his best dance steps for the finale and could wow her. Terrific capture. Thad

We have a lot of Sandhills here in North Dakota but I've never seen them dance like this and I've never gotten any closer to one than 100 yards... you must have been using a telephoto to get this great capture. -Nik

This is obviously one crane telling the other a fishing story. Apparently a big one got away, ...again. A great capture of the cranes, Sandi. Nice clarity and colours in the image.
