Is the tiger taking a power nap, or is that pretty much his routine for the day? Outstanding capture through the fence. You must have a pretty fast lens to have blurred it out altogether. Excellent work, Sandi.
Reminds me of when I go to the beach and sit in the sun. They are such beautiful animals to behold and your photos are always fabulous. Nice work, Sandi.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
He/she looks how I feel at the moment but in my case it's more tired and lazy rather than 'laid back' lol...that's a beautiful closeup SAS...colors and clarity spot on.
Nothing to do so it must be nap time. Hey when there is something to do it might be nap time. Either way it works for this cat-napper. Good clear shooting Sandi.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
you do these great beast well my friend. all the whiskers are sharp and all the little fine hairs really show off the detail. thumbs up on a good job! im glad the fence and the distance of subject was perfect.
You've capture his relaxed pose enjoying the weather. His eyes are closed tight and just love those whiskers, his fur looks so soft. Brilliant colours and detail
Great focus on the cat's fur and especially his whiskers, and the bokeh background is excellent. Your wide crop works very well, too, emphasizing the portion of this beautiful creature we are able to see. Nice work all 'round.

Very nice. I like the emphasis that the depth of field gives to this cat napper's head and forelimb; also the the photo's width over height emphasizes the breadth of the cat's reclining body seen at this angle, an emphasis which, of course, is in line with the cat's very powerful body.
I also like the seeming blue tint of the cat's white fur somehow echoing the blue in the sky; I find the association very suggestive of strong nature.
I've sort of learned that one can mark a photograph as a "favorite" as this one is soon to be.
