One of the many monarch images I have, this one was not the best, so decided to see what I could do with it for the B&W challenge, and this is what I ended up with.

For you windows 10 users I was notified by HP Assistant on the laptop of a driver update, got it done, and no problems, (Intel Wlan Driver for microsoft windows 10 was the update message.

I have windows 7 back on my older computer after the keyboard issue I had with windows 10, but 10 sure works good on the newer HP.

I appreciate your comments, either nay or yay, and thank you in advance.

I did the editing in the new program I found Photo Pad Image Editor.

Very nice work Sndi. A good one for the challenge. I updated from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 already in the first week of August and have had no problems. I used microsoft edge for six weeks but have now gone back to Gogle chrome which I find is better than Edge.

..but it wouldn't have been you when you hadn't used your creative skills to the limit, with this perfect sketch as result.

Good entry for the B&W challenge my friend.

Very pretty - it looks like a mixture of pen & ink and watercolor. Good work, Sandi.

I too like this work of art Sandi - I like the verticality and also to agree with Susanlyn that it resembles a pen and ink sketch.

Very cool editing work on this, Sandi. It seems there is always some way to salvage a not-so-good picture. Well done.

Oh this looks great as a sketch, Tigs. I'm going to have to check out Photo-Pad. Thanks for the tip.

I love the delicacy of this Sandi - you did a good job.
Thansk for putting it in the BWC my friend :)
Glad your Win 10 is going well. I have been trouble free as well. Love it !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
