I thought a B&W worked fine for this image, I took at the property of Lee Beer.

This will be my challenge entry this week.

Thanks for commenting.

Oh, that is cool. Hang on, I'll be right over. I want to fill up on that 54.9 cents a gallon gas.

Sandi, a colored version had already 'thrown' us back in time, but this wonderful B&W version has even enhanced my nostalgic feelings.
Great entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge. You did a perfect job, my friend. Kudos!!!

The b/w conversion has brought out the details very well here.

Another good one Sandi - I remember gas at that price - I even remember a "gas war" in Peoria when I was a child where gas was 17cents a gallon - that would have been about 1956. That gas pump has much nostalgia.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

When I first started driving, gas was 80 cents a gallon. Great nostalgic shot.

Super B/W and the old gas pump look like some of the ones when I was growing up

A bit of a tight squeeze down that one-way street, but if I can get the car up on two wheels I might be able to make it. I just hope the light don't change before I start. A great capture of the treasure trove, Sandi.
